Session 1: Stock Market Basics
We’ll kick off with the essentials. You’ll discover what the stock market is, how it operates, and who the key players are. We’ll also dive into the different types of markets and financial instruments, such as equity shares, bonds, mutual funds and ETF. By the end of this session, you’ll have a solid grasp of market terminology, and the concepts of risk and return.
Session 2: Fundamental Analysis
In this session, I’ll guide you through reading financial statements, understanding key financial ratios, and identifying the qualitative factors that make a company strong. We’ll also look at how to analyze various sectors and industries, using real-life examples of Indian companies.
Session 3: Technical Analysis
Here, I’ll teach you how to assess market trends and make informed short-term trading decisions. We’ll explore stock charts, trend analysis, technical indicators, and trading strategies. You’ll also get practical experience analyzing historical charts of Indian stocks.
Session 4: Opening a Brokerage Account and How to Buy and Sell
In the final session, we’ll get hands-on. You’ll learn how to navigate a trading platform, place buy and sell orders, and manage your portfolio. We’ll also discuss common pitfalls to avoid and taxes.
